MailerLite has discontinued MailerLite Classic. They have also made some changes to their plans.
To continue connecting Newsletter Glue to MailerLite you will need:
- MailerLite Advanced plan or above (this is a paid plan)
You must check which plan you are on.
Their API to connect to Newsletter Glue will NOT work if you are on their “Growing Business” plan.
How to reconnect to MailerLite
If you were on MailerLite Classic before and are now on a MailerLite Advanced plan, follow these steps to reconnect Newsletter Glue to MailerLite.
1. Create a new API key in your MailerLite account.
2. Inside your WordPress site, go to Newsletters > Settings > Connections
3. Disconnect your MailerLite Classic integration.
4. Then, from the dropdown, select MailerLite.
5. Enter the API key you created in step 1. And connect.
Test your new connection
In MailerLite, create a new group for testing. Just add you and your internal team’s email addresses.
Then create and send a newsletter only to that test group.
